Amy Weiskopf

Artist Bio Artist Work

Amy Weiskopf was born in Chicago Illinois. She received a BFA from Washington University in St. Louis and an MFA from Tyler School of Art in Philadelphia and in Rome, Italy. While painting in Rome for nine years, she began exhibiting in New York in 1987  and has shown widely in the USA since. Her work is in numerous public and private collections, including the Metropolitan Museum of Art.  Weiskopf has taught at The New York Academy of Art, Loyola University of Chicago, Rome campus; Tulane University, and Kentucky School of Art. Weiskopf recently received a prestigious Pollack Krasner grant. She divides her time between New York, New Orleans, and Siena, Italy.
