Jaeok Lee
Artist Bio Artist Work
In Jaeok Lee’s work, he taps into the essence of Korea's cultural past. He reconnects with tradition to revitalize it, bringing new life to his values and fostering a deeper cultural connection through the creative process. After a long period of sickness during which he went through cycles of illness and recovery, he held on to rituals, talismans, and beliefs to seek healing of the body, mind, and relationships. His work unites his journey towards healing, Korean heritage, and the exploration of human connections.
