Olga Antonova
Artist Bio Artist Work
Olga Antonova was born in Volgograd, Russia, and grew up in Leningrad (now St. Petersburg). In 1980 she received a master’s degree in fine art from what is now the I. Repin St. Petersburg State Academy Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture.
She subsequently immigrated to the United States and then lived for more than 15 years in France. Olga has exhibited widely in the United States and abroad (France, Germany, Switzerland and Puerto Rico) and her work has been reviewed many times in publications including Art News and American Arts Quarterly.
In 1990, Olga Antonova was given the honor of having images of her work included into the slide library of the National Portrait Gallery at the Smithsonian.
